About the Role

A key objective as a Digital Logistics Innovation Leader will be to develop software that aligns with Kuehne+Nagel's strategy, incorporating initial design, development, testing, and implementation. This role involves collaborating closely with the business department to identify and propose technical and functional solutions for feature requests and improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Be involved in the entire development lifecycle, from requirements definition through realization to delivery.
  • Work closely with the business department to find suitable solutions for new feature requests and improvements.
  • Contribute to the active development of the product team.
  • Identify and propose changes to improve the Development Process.

You will develop Java- and Angular-based internal digital products within the Transport Management System (Web/Desktop), write clean code, and take responsibility for quality and maintainability. You will work on defining, specifying, and designing modular and integrated software products, and design and implement automated tests for your code. Contribute to continuous process improvement and tool development.

Requirements
  • Experience working in small to medium-sized software development teams in an agile environment.
  • Possess strong object-oriented programming skills and several years of expertise as a full-stack developer using Java, Angular, SpringBoot, Rest, Hibernate, Docker, OpenShift, Jenkins, Git, Oracle, ReactJS, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular, JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of Kafka, API Gateways, Microservice architecture, and DevOps is a plus.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
