**Job Title:** Senior HSE Advisor - Barcelona

At Damco Spain Sl, we are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for our employees. We are currently seeking an experienced HSSQE Technical Advisor to join our team in Barcelona.

About the Role:

  • We are looking for a highly skilled professional with expertise in Health, Safety, Security, Quality, and Environment (HSSQE) who can provide technical guidance and support to our operations teams.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as our company's policies and procedures.
  • You will also be required to identify high-risk activities and develop improvement plans to mitigate these risks.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the implementation of our HSSQE strategy and ensure that all operational activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
  2. Provide technical advice and guidance to site-based teams on HSSQE matters.
  3. Monitor and report on performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing action plans to address these gaps.
  4. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure they comply with relevant legislation and our site standards.
  5. Participate in incident investigations and monitor post-incident improvement actions.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a related field such as Engineering, Science, or Business.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HSSQE principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
