A Day in the LifeOur goal is uncompromising reliability and quality in our products and processes. To ensure patient safety and health, we closely monitor and report on product performance. The Patient & Technical Services department in Heerlen addresses clinical and technical product inquiries for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). This role is based remotely in Portugal, and we welcome applications from both experienced professionals and recent graduates.

In this dynamic role as a Healthcare Access Specialist, you'll be the primary contact for patients with implanted neurostimulators or drug pumps, handling technical and application-related inquiries. You'll provide support for the Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health Operating Units across EMEA, addressing patient concerns about living with these devices, troubleshooting issues, and managing equipment replacements. You'll also serve as a resource for healthcare professionals and Medtronic representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional technical support to our patients and customers
  • Serve as a liaison between patients and our technical and marketing partners
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of all relevant products
  • Perform technical activities requiring considerable judgment and ownership of projects
  • Ensure accurate documentation and system entries
  • Connect effectively with stakeholders and prioritize customer needs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Proficiency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish (written and spoken)
  • Excellent communication skills through phone and email, and strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to contribute to/lead projects supporting service expansion
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by speed and effectiveness
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy
