Heather Moors is seeking a highly skilled Lead Restaurant Hostess to join our dynamic team at our premium venue in Cascais. As a key member of our gastro pub, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills and ensure customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing the restaurant floor, ensuring seamless service delivery, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Taking customer orders and delivering food and beverages promptly
  • Being knowledgeable about the bar and restaurant menu to provide recommendations and answer questions
  • Staying attentive to guests' needs and ensuring their satisfaction
  • Ensuring food is prepared correctly and presented well
  • Adhering to proper alcohol handling, restaurant standards, procedures, rules, and health and safety requirements
  • Performing shift duties such as polishing glasses, silverware, wiping tables, and maintaining a clean service area
  • Delivering checks and collecting payments accurately
  • Opening or closing the service area at the beginning and end of each shift
  • Maintaining the restaurant in perfect condition
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Organizational skills
  • The ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Strong communication skills
  • To be a native or fluent English speaker with a C1 level proficiency
  • To display effective communication skills in English, conveying information clearly, following instructions, and interacting professionally with colleagues and the public

We estimate the salary for this role to be around 30,000€ per annum, based on industry standards and location.
