Your Role
As a Senior Onboarding & KYC Officer, you'll play a crucial part in shaping KNG's client-focused culture. Working within our First Line Onboarding and Monitoring Team across London and Lisbon, you will:
- Deliver exceptional client experiences by streamlining onboarding and KYC processes.
- Conduct initial Know Your Customer (KYC) checks in line with regulatory requirements and KNG's internal policies for the global institutional book of business.
- Review and verify customer documentation, including ID, proof of address, and other relevant information, to ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and sanctions laws and regulations in the UK and Portugal.
- Identify and escalate potential risks or discrepancies to Head of Onboarding and Monitoring or compliance where required.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking motivated, proactive, and client-focused professionals with:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role within the financial services sector.
- Working knowledge of UK and EU AML regulatory frameworks and related legislation.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work within the regulatory standards while focusing on excellence in customer experience.
