At Convatec Inc., we are transforming the way we manage our payroll processes to ensure seamless delivery of accurate and timely payments to our employees worldwide. We are currently seeking an Expert Payroll Administrator to join our international HR Service Delivery Team based in Lisbon.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with experience in payroll administration and a strong knowledge of payroll regulations, preferably in multiple countries. As part of the GBS HR team, you will support payroll processes across various countries, working closely with in-country payroll processors where they exist.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing payroll for employees across multiple countries, collaborating with in-country payroll processors as needed.
  • Supporting the optimization of payroll execution systems and processes to facilitate data collection, calculation, and entry.
  • Reviewing and approving changes to payroll records.
  • Providing assistance to employees regarding payroll queries, working in conjunction with in-country payroll processors.
  • Liaising with third-party payroll providers, in-country payroll teams, and centralized support teams to deliver a superior payroll solution.
  • Preparing relevant reports to support business objectives.
  • Maintaining relationships with stakeholders such as the payroll COE, Finance, HR, Benefits team, third-party payroll providers, and employees.
  • Ensuring compliance with local legislation, including tax and social security requirements.
  • Supporting required reconciliations with the Finance team, including payments to statutory bodies and General Ledger files.
  • Maintaining payroll guidelines and processes by developing, updating, and supporting policies and procedures.
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of audit procedures and control reports to ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Ensuring a uniform payroll approach across jurisdictions.
  • Complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on necessary actions.

We offer a competitive salary of around $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth within our company.
