Job Description: As a Senior Network Engineer, you will lead the maintenance of network solutions to enable effective management of business and technical requirements for all corporate and Data Centre networks. You will manage operational vendor relationships, including third-party suppliers, for operational effectiveness and enhancement. Your responsibilities will include provisioning and maintaining appropriate Network solutions and controls in the infrastructure environment, managing the maintenance of the infrastructure environment with standardized processes and automated tools, and providing detailed and Low-Level Design documentation. Additionally, you will define Network Lab and Test Plan development as well as instrumentation requirements, own and maintain the network monitoring platform, and have excellent troubleshooting skills along with providing support verifying incidents, requests, and if escalations are being properly handled. You will also promote continuous team improvement and growth, meet commitments, and deliverables as related to participating/leading projects.

About You: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or similar. Apart from TCP/IP knowledge, you should have a good understanding of financial trading industry IT and business. At least 3 to 5 years of experience in similar functions is required. Solid knowledge and experience in network implementation and operations in either Juniper (JNCIP/JNCIE level on EX, MX, QFX, and J series platforms) or Cisco (CCNP/CCIE level) are necessary. Understanding of Data Centre Infrastructure (structured cabling, power distribution, cooling), MPLS VPN design and implementation, use of network probes and monitors, and physical transport technologies (i.e., DWDM) is also required. Knowledge of common services (i.e., DNS/NTP) and low-latency switching is essential. Application design and development relating to networks is also beneficial. Detailed knowledge of Firewall technology and how to apply them in a service-oriented enterprise is necessary. Experience with scripting languages such as CloudFormation, Python, and Perl, security-oriented mindset with familiarity of DDoS Solutions, IDS, and IPS, and SIEM architecture and usage is required. In-depth knowledge of Checkpoint and Fortinet products (Fortigate & Fortimanager) and experience with Netscaler, RSA SecureID (2FA), Bluecoat (SG) products, and AWS technologies (VPC, WAF, Gateways, other serverless products) is necessary. Network trace analysis skills in critical and complex environments are also required. Change Management process experience (ITIL) is beneficial. Good communication skills and the ability to work with others on both an ad hoc and project team basis, across organizational boundaries, are essential. A sense of responsibility, pro-activity, and dynamism are also required. Good knowledge of English is necessary.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
