About the Role

The Senior Global Trade Compliance Strategist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and driving Organon's end-to-end trade compliance program, including overseeing import and export trade activities in regions worldwide. This role will manage a team of 4 Senior Specialists and support import and export sites, as well as connect with trade compliance programs in other regions.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable government agencies and regulations for existing products, new launches, legal entity integrations, network changes, and more.
  • Lead the Trade Compliance Community of Practice, ensuring close connections between global, regional, and local trade compliance activities.
  • Design and advise on improvements for trade compliance policies, operating procedures, and internal controls.
  • Identify trade compliance risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation plans.
  • Partner with external logistics service providers and customs brokers to measure brokerage performance and drive improvement.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze evolving trade laws and regulations applicable to the company and their impact on global strategy and operations.
  • Support regions in Global Trade Compliance Audits and other audits relating to customs activities, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented in response to any findings.
Location

This is a global remote position that can be based in various European countries, including The Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Spain, Denmark, Norway, Finland, United Kingdom, or Ireland. It can also be based in Jersey City, USA. There is a possibility to work from a local office or manufacturing site in the country for one or more days a week. International travel will be limited.

Estimated Salary Range

$150,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
