Revenue Optimization Specialist

We offer a diverse and continually expanding range of road trip options: from short-term RV rentals to long-term campervan subscriptions, and even the opportunity to purchase one of our vehicles.
The RoleAs a Revenue Analyst at Indie Campers, you'll be part of the Revenue 1P team, which focuses on our Own Rental business, managing the rental of our own fleet across 70+ locations in 22 different countries. This team is responsible for defining the strategy, building the processes, and developing the guidelines for the Revenue 1P activity across the company.
You'll be joining our Revenue 1P team in our HQ, reporting directly to the Own Rental Director, and working closely with the Pricing, E-commerce, Predictive Modelling, and Stock specialists inside the Revenue 1P team, and with other teams such as Growth, and Operations (Asset Management, Customer Satisfaction).
Key Responsibilities- Stock:
- Provide data and support analysis and decision-making processes for Fleet Allocation (new vehicle procurement, models, and allocation)
- Support the annual Doolittle project by defining guidelines for new vehicle distribution to intended locations
- Support defining guidelines and processes for day-to-day stock management and vehicle allocation
- Support data teams in developing Stock algorithms, ensuring business challenges are addressed
- Pricing:
- Define guidelines for pricing, processes for price adjustments, and tracking underlying impacts
- Support data teams in developing Pricing algorithms, ensuring business challenges are addressed
- Predictive Modelling:
- Support continuous forecasting of business performance by defining guidelines and contributing to model building
- Communicate and share forecasting outputs and consequences for the business to other teams
- E-commerce:
- Continuous funnel analysis, understanding customer behavior, and identifying improvement opportunities
- Coordinate with the Product team for continuous development of our offering and implementation of new products and services
- Commercial Planning and Trading:
- Support establishing and maintaining a framework for regional teams' day-to-day trading activities, providing a playbook for issue diagnosis and action
- Monitor execution of stock and pricing guidelines by regional teams
- Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Management, or a related field
- Entry-level role, up to 3 years of professional experience
- Strong analytical skills, ability to read and process large data sets, identify patterns, and derive business insights
- Modelling skills, knowledge of SQL and Python is a plus
- Ability to communicate clearly and in a structured way, both spoken and written
- Autonomy, critical thinking, and ability to work in a team are essential
- You thrive in fast-paced environments and feel comfortable with ever-changing situations
- You are motivated by taking ownership of your projects
- Fluency in English is mandatory
