About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished Purchasing Manager to spearhead our procurement team's efforts. Your key responsibilities will include:

Your Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Purchasing Team by promoting motivation and well-being, addressing challenges, and communicating our management strategy.Validate recommendations and lead implementation on Purchasing and Procurement policies and procedures.Analyse and resolve escalated back office issues related to Purchasing applications.Support and define strategic planning for both immediate and future needs, in line with overall GBS Strategy.Evaluate and lead update department standard operating procedures.Escalation level for highly confidential and/or highly sensitive process-related issues.Report performance metrics to stakeholders and propose mitigation actions.Perform benchmarks with similar companies as Airbus in all countries.Lead process projects and translate our strategy into meaningful objectives within your area of responsibility.Contribute to increasing Airbus profitability by securing business in the short, mid, and long term.

About You:

To excel in this role, you should possess a strong procurement and purchasing background, with a minimum of 7 years' experience in commercial or industrial environments. Your expertise should include leadership, team building, training, and team support. Excellent communication skills are vital for success in this position.
