Sovos Compliance is a leader in Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) compliance services, and we're looking for a talented individual to join our growing team as a Compliance Services Associate. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate preparation and filing of IPT returns for your portfolio of clients.
The Role:
You will be responsible for acting as the first point of contact for your clients, validating their IPT data using our in-house software, confirming tax amounts due, creating accurate tax returns, and ensuring all data is accurate and returns submitted within strict deadlines. You will also develop and foster close working relationships with your clients, attending meetings as necessary.
What We Need From You:
- Possess excellent attention to detail, including data accuracy and deadline management.
- Be confident in prioritizing your workload to ensure returns are filed within legal timeframes.
- Be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Be a team player with a proactive attitude.
- A willingness to learn new skills as business needs dictate.
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
- Additional European languages are an advantage.
What Sovos Offers:
- A competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience.
