About the Role

As a seasoned professional, you will contribute to financial risk mitigation strategies in Trade Finance, Cash Management, and FX Risk Management at Siemens Energy Unipessoal Lda.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in finance, with a minimum of three years of experience in bank or corporate treasury, focusing on Trade Finance, FX Management, or Cash Management.

You will be responsible for performing diverse cross-functional tasks, including supervising the execution of internal governance rules, developing solutions to optimize the trade finance portfolio, improving cash management infrastructure, and handling FX deals to reduce PL effects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for Trade Finance and Treasury-related topics, collaborating closely with the CFO and other stakeholders.
  • Support the Siemens Energy organization in issuing, advising, and managing guarantees for customers and export letters of credit, ensuring seamless system and data maintenance, documentation, reports, and controls.
  • Advise on and manage risk positions related to foreign exchange, liquidity, and guarantees, contributing to informed business decisions.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms & conditions with banks, leading relationships and ensuring optimal agreements.
  • Oversee in-house bank activities, including payment factory, bank accounts, central bank reporting, FX Management, electronic banking solutions, authorized signatures, M&A/divestment projects, and user management for IT tools.
