Job Overview

The Quality Control and Reliability Teams at TE ensure that products and product components meet specifications and quality standards. They conduct rigorous testing and inspection to verify product performance and integrity, ensuring high-quality and reliable products for our customers.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
  1. Lead quality enhancement projects within the Industrial Business Unit, focusing on cost reduction and process improvements.
  2. Responsible for managing the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) across the entire value chain of the Industrial Business Unit.
  3. Analyze COPQ in all areas, including plants, warehouses, and distribution centers.
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Sales, Product Management) to identify root causes of COPQ and propose corrective actions.
  5. Utilize problem-solving tools and methodologies, such as 6 Sigma, Ishikawa, IS/IS NOT, 5 Whys, and Kaizen, to drive investigation processes.
  6. Develop and implement process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing COPQ.
  7. Lead COPQ harmonization projects, including data collection, reporting, analysis, procedure development, and guidelines creation.
  8. Provide training and guidance to manufacturing plants and distribution centers on released initiatives.
  9. Regularly share progress updates on initiative status.
  10. Perform audits to verify implementation of guidelines and follow up on action plans.
  11. Benchmark with other TE's Business Units and the market to bring new quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing environments, such as Continuous Improvement Specialist, Customer/Manufacturing Quality Specialist.
  • Proven experience working with SAP.
  • Proven project management skills.

Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred. Problem-solving tools & methodologies mastery, English language fluency, basic knowledge in Finance and Supply Chain fields, good knowledge in SAP, team player, results-oriented, and problem-solver are also required.
