To leverage Lisbon's tech spirit and infuse it into their brand-new Tech Competence Centre, the Client aims to reinforce its technical capabilities on state-of-the-art technology and respond to the growth of their business. The Lisbon teams will be an extension of its central Group Platforms teams and will be fully integrated into the core technology workforce.
Job Description
The successful candidate will develop custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other programming languages and frameworks.
Key responsibilities include participating in complete application life cycles from technical design, architecture, development, testing, and deployment of high-quality Salesforce solutions using coding best practices.
The ideal candidate will possess a client-centric mindset, allowing them to identify and recommend creative solutions to build extensions to the out-of-the-box capabilities of the platform.
Effective communication and collaboration with other technical resources, such as architects, admins, configuration experts, and stakeholders, regarding status, risks, and any technical issues are essential.
The role requires applying best practices in developments, challenging solution designs from other software engineers/developers in the team, actively participating in Agile ceremonies, and giving constant updates of the evolution of feature development in the sprint.
The candidate will also ensure functional and technical health of features developed by peers through cross-testing among the development team and being involved in all test phases.
In addition, they will help the support team troubleshoot and deliver quality solutions to bugs raised in production.
Requirements
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology or computer science or equivalent experience is required.
2+ years of experience in Salesforce development, ideally with exposure to call-center solutions, is necessary.
Salesforce certifications (Salesforce Developer 1 and 2, Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Administrator, Superbadges) are desirable.
A solid understanding of Salesforce products, including the ability to investigate and debug issues, is crucial.
Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks relevant to Salesforce development (e.g., Apex, Java, JavaScript) is essential.
Strong knowledge of Agile methodology, experience with Jira and Confluence, and previous exposure to test automation technologies and best practices are beneficial.
Proficiency in English is mandatory.
Salary Information
The estimated annual salary for this position is €60,000 - €80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
