Global Telecommunications Leader Wanted

H.B. Fuller Co., a leading global adhesives provider, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineering Manager to lead our globally distributed team of network engineers.

The ideal candidate will have a diverse background of technical experience, demonstrated project management acumen, and customer service skills. This role will report to the Director of Global IT Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to global network engineering team.
  • Develop new team skills outside of comfort zone.
  • Act to resolve issues which prevent the team from working effectively.
  • Responsible for planning and coordinating activities pertaining to the day-to-day operation of network environment.
  • Identify and drive cost savings opportunities to reduce cost of service and eliminate technical debt.
  • Build and maintain relationships with other IT leaders to develop a clear understanding of business needs; ensure cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs and respond with agility to changing business priorities.
  • Participate in the assessment of external and internal technology capabilities with a focus on suitability for integration with the existing IT environment.
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and direction to the IT operations management team and staff.
  • Participate in committees to drive the development of enterprise standards, governance processes, and performance metrics to ensure network infrastructure delivers value to the enterprise.

Requirements:

  • 8 or more years of experience in IT or related job field.
  • Ability to travel globally up to 10% of the time, internationally or domestically.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 years of leadership experience.
  • IT Infrastructure experience in a global enterprise environment.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
