Human Resources Finance Specialist

Hovione, a pioneering Contract Development and Manufacturing Company, is seeking a skilled HR Finance Controller to join its team. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for providing a business partnering function, supporting Finance and the business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Develop and implement methodologies for staff cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
    • Align headcount actuals, planning, and headcount cost estimation with stakeholders.
    • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and reports related to employment costs.
    • Estimate annual costs and related salary increases and bonus.
    • Act as key user on personnel cost and headcount processes.
    • Lead improvement processes on systems to optimize workforce planning, personnel costs, and headcount.
    • Develop calculations for fringe rates, contributions for company locations globally.
    • Perform financial analysis and provide insights for changes to HR benefit and compensation programs.
  • Systems:
    • Interface between HR and Finance systems for efficient budget and forecast processes.
    • Understand staff costs structures, including payroll, and specific features of each location.
  • Cost Control:
    • Manage and control departmental expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines and cost-saving measures.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (including IFRS).
    • Guarantee adequate controls are embedded in and adhered to for all HR related accounting and finance processes.
  • Variations:
    • Assist and participate in special projects.
    • Single point of contact for data in alignment with current data governance process.
    • Prepare and deliver standard reports and ad-hoc reports.
    • Create and present executive-level presentations.
    • Work with key internal and external stakeholders, including HR and Finance Teams, and external consultants.
    • Execute professional activities in compliance with GMP and HSE guidelines, internal and external requirements, and promote the implementation and maintenance of Hovione ́s policies, systems, and procedures.
    • Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions, and to comply with environmental, health & safety rules/procedures, regulations, and codes of practice.

Requirements:

  • CVs in English, please.
  • 8-12 years of experience in a HR Controlling position.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting policies and procedures for Payroll, Benefits, and knowledge of respective systems used (Excel, Power BI, SAP HR, SAP FIN, QlickView, PeopleFluent, etc).
  • Experience in budget planning for mid-sized companies.
  • Proficient at analyzing data and providing insights for decision-making with an analytical mindset.
  • Integrity of confidential information.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision and cross-functionally.
