About the Job

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Native Software Architect to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying resilient and high-performing cloud-native applications on AWS.

Your expertise in JavaScript language, including ES6/7/8/next, TypeScript, and its eco-system and tooling, will be essential in this role. You will also have experience with at least two recent JavaScript frameworks, as well as proficiency in NodeJS, Go, or Java and their respective eco-systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to research, evaluate, and test new approaches, processes, and tools, and help teams use them effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in JavaScript language (e.g., ES6/7/8/next, TypeScript) as well as its eco-system and tooling
  • Experience with at least two recent JavaScript frameworks
  • Proficiency in NodeJS, Go, or Java and their respective eco-systems
  • Expertise in cloud design, infrastructure as code, tools, and services on AWS
  • Good experience with CI/CD, preferably Gitlab CI
  • Able to design, build, test, and deploy applications
  • Customer-centric, passionate about delivering great digital products and services
  • Demonstrating true software craftsmanship mindset
  • Passionate about continuous improvement, collaboration, and great teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills coupled with good communication skills
  • Understanding of social and ethical implications of software engineering
