Senior Advisor for Climate Adaptation and Resilience

We are looking for a Senior Financial Expert to join our team and contribute to the success of our EU funded project, Advisory Support on Climate Adaptation, Resilience and Nature-based Solutions in Environmental Sectors.
The role involves providing expert advice on financial matters related to the project, including financial modelling, financial advisory, banking or investing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in economics, accounting, finance, business administration, or an equivalent field, and excellent written and spoken English skills (CEFR C1) or equivalent.
A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in financial modelling, financial advisory, banking or investing is required. Specific knowledge and experience in the financial structuring of complex projects, as demonstrated by involvement in at least 10 completed projects, are also essential. Experience in project preparation of complex projects in the environment sector, such as value capture and/or nature-based solutions and/or climate change adaptation or mitigation, is highly valued. Knowledge and experience with the blending of financial instruments and sustainable debt instruments, demonstrated by involvement in at least 3 completed projects, are considered an asset.
