We are seeking a Technology Visionary to lead our Commercial data & analytics organization and shape the vision for a modern, AI-ready data and analytics capability across the Commercial function.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT leadership and experience in delivering large, data-intensive technology solutions within a Commercial pharmaceutical company. They will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing data governance and architecture practices, and promoting data-driven decision-making.
The Technology Visionary will oversee the development of data-related initiatives and ensure the effective preparation of A.I.-ready data products. They will also evaluate and select external vendors for data-related services and drive delivery of data and analytics products through aligned squads and service factories (chapters).
Responsibilities:
- Shape the vision and drive the agenda for a modern, AI-ready data and analytics capability across the Commercial function.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs to valuable data & analytics products.
- Provide overall leadership and fulfill day-to-day management responsibilities for the Commercial data & analytics technology squads.
- Evaluate and select external vendors for data-related services.
- Drive delivery of data and analytics products through aligned squads and service factories (chapters).
- Implement Organon Data & Analytics data architecture and data governance policies.
- Explore opportunities within the functions to imagine and deliver future-state capabilities.
- Oversee Organon Commercial Data & Analytics portfolio of solutions, activities, and deliverables.
Requirements:
- B.A./B.S. Degree in Computer Information Sciences, Business Management, or related field.
- At least Ten years relevant experience in IT leadership position.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering large, data intensive technology solutions within a Commercial pharmaceutical company.
- Ability to develop, articulate, and build support around a long-term strategy.
- Direct experience with large-scale IT systems development, portfolio and program management, and financial management.
- Demonstrated experience working with and deploying technology capabilities globally.
- Demonstrated leadership in achieving shared objectives in a matrix organization.
