**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the delivery of Mechanical and Electrical (MEP) projects within our Data Centres team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects from inception to completion.

About the Role:

  • Support Business Unit Directors in driving business objectives and delivering high-quality services;
  • Administrate contracts as Contract Administrator, Employer's Agent or Project Manager;
  • Build a network of vendors, MEP contractors, and consultants;
  • Participate in the development and implementation of procurement and delivery strategies for MEP deliverables;
  • Evaluate and ensure the quality and compliance of MEP design, procurement, installation, and commissioning;
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure on-time delivery and installation of critical plant and equipment;
  • Monitor and control the progress of procurement, delivery, and commissioning on-site;
  • Take regular site walks to promote and observe safety and progress, report and track corrective actions;
  • Lead and mentor employees to their full potential;
  • Prepare bids for services and manage service delivery for profit.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Maintenance Engineering and Operations experience working on mission-critical related construction projects (data centres, life science, etc.);
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment and engineering specifications relating to data centers;
  • Knowledge of industry standards;
  • Excellent communication skills – both oral and written;
  • Methodical approach to work;
  • Problem-solving, negotiating, financial, and numeracy skills.
