Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our Target Costing initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, Purchasing & Engineering teams to achieve cost savings and drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Target Costing strategies for mandated projects;
- Support Sales teams with Cost Disclosure and Cost Breakdowns during customer interactions;
- Proactively identify Design-to-Cost opportunities and commercial evaluation of technical concepts;
- Provide cost transparency on Product level through monitoring, reporting, and forecasting;
- Schedule and facilitate Benchmarking workshops and tear down analysis;
- Create and validate Product (and component) Cost calculations on Best Practice level;
- Act as a first point of contact for consulting support and interface with internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Degree in Manufacturing/Engineering/MBA/Business Engineering/Industrial Engineering (Bachelor, Master, Diploma);
- At least 3 years of experience in similar roles;
- Demonstrated cost awareness and knowledge of various manufacturing processes;
- Project Management experience with strong process understanding and structured working methods;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others;
- Fluency in Portuguese and English; additional languages are a plus.
