This role plays a vital part in our mission to create healthier communities by working collaboratively with licensed occupational therapists to develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients. As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with patients to help them achieve their goals and regain independence in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement occupational therapy treatment programs under the guidance of licensed occupational therapists
  • Provide direct patient care services, including conducting routine assessments and implementing therapeutic interventions
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program
  • Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas or eligibility
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Ability to lift up to 75-100 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, and perform physical tasks related to patient care

Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
