We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Biology teacher to join our team at PaRK International School in Lisbon. As a Biology educator, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction aligned with the GCSE, A-Level, or IBDP Biology curricula, inspiring student confidence and fostering academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver dynamic lessons that cater to individual learning needs, incorporating modern teaching strategies and technology to enhance the learning experience.
  • Monitor student progress through effective use of formative and summative assessments, ensuring students meet challenging academic targets.
  • Provide pastoral support, promoting student well-being and addressing individual needs in collaboration with the school's well-being team.
  • Encourage student involvement in extra-curricular biology-related activities, trips, and learning opportunities beyond the classroom.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and school improvement planning, ensuring alignment with the school's educational priorities.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in Biology or a related field, along with a valid teaching qualification.
