Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Data Collector to join our team at Iqvia.

Job Description

The Clinical Data Collector will serve as the primary point of contact for patients and healthcare professionals participating in clinical studies. This individual will support multiple studies and programs, including medical information inquiries, pregnancy registries, and patient-reported outcomes collection via phone calls. The successful candidate will facilitate completion of protocol-specific tasks remotely using various communication channels and electronic data capture systems. Full training is provided, and no prior experience is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing accurate and timely information to patients and healthcare professionals in response to incoming calls and emails
  • Administering informed consent verbally or online
  • Following up with patients and/or healthcare professionals as per protocol requirements
  • Collecting and entering data into the study electronic data capture system
  • Recognizing and escalating adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs) according to protocol guidelines
  • Resolving data queries and maintaining investigator site files
Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • College certificate or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in a business process outsourcing (BPO) company with technology support or clinical background is a plus
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively in Dutch and English languages
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows Operating System
What We Offer

Iqvia offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Our ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and be a team player. If you're not an EU citizen, you must have a resident visa or permanent visa for Portugal.
