Role Summary

Western Union is seeking a highly motivated and business-oriented professional to join our Credit & Collections team as a Collector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building effective business relationships with our customers based on trust, respect, and rapport. You will handle day-to-day client services and receivables processes, ensuring a smooth and proper credit risk assessment. This role requires a strong understanding of credit and collections principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate within the Credit & Collections team to control the whole credit and payments cycle in Germany and Austria.
  • Build effective business relationships with customers based on trust, respect, and rapport.
  • Handle day-to-day client services and receivables processes, ensuring a smooth and proper credit risk assessment.
  • Work in close partnership with other departments in various countries and assist customers, peers, and management.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Fluent in English and German languages (B2 level and above).
  • Knowledge of Excel.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Ability to influence and drive execution.
  • Passionate about working in a multicultural environment.
