Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Leader to join our team at Epam. As a key member of our software development life cycle, you will be responsible for technical analysis, documentation, development, testing, and code reviews.

You will work closely with the production support team to release and maintain components of the platform, providing feedback on architecture, design, technology choices, and technology direction. Your expertise in test-driven development and continuous integration practices will be invaluable in ensuring the quality of our software.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the software development life cycle of the project
  • Collaborate with the production support team to release and maintain the components of the platform
  • Provide feedback on the architecture, design, technology choices, and technology direction of the platform
  • Implement test-driven development and continuous integration practices
  • Develop real-time event-driven applications using Java-core

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of software development experience with Java-core
  • 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
  • Practical knowledge of Java-core: multithreading, GC optimization, collections (including concurrency collections)
  • Experience developing real-time event-driven applications
  • Good understanding of test-driven development and continuous integration practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • B2+ English level proficiency
