**The Work You’ll Do**:
The SAP Solution Consultant is a client facing role responsible for the SAP Solution implementation projects in Germany. The Consultant is responsible for delivering services to both clients sold to in Germany and also other sales regions with an EMEA presence or HQ, delivering best in class software implementation for relevant Sovos software. The balance of the role will be focused on the profitable growth of our existing business in line with market demand.

This Consultant must ensure to bridge customer requirements with our product and support services. Implementation Services are the base for a solid relationship with the customer business and IT team and this consultant should execute competent plans to promote customer success while maintaining scope.

**More specifically you will**:

- Manage the SAP solution implementation projects ensuring that all implementations on Sovos’ cutting-edge technology solutions and change requests are responded to and completed in a timely fashion while delivering an outstanding customer service experience
- Understand how Sovos solutions can provide capabilities and benefits to address our client’s business needs
- Prioritise changing demands, multi-tasks and creatively meets tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Assist in drafting/revising Statement of Work documents

**What We Need From You**
- Bachelor's Degree ideally in Taxation, Tax Law, Accounting or Economics preferred
- 3+ years of experience working in software/professional services environment or similar type industry an advantage
- Experience of SAP product portfolio and landscapes as it relates to Tax compliance
- Experience in SAP implementations, customisation and maintenance of SAP MM, SD, FI SAP modules for enterprise and multi-national clients
- General understanding of indirect taxes
- Experience with VAT requirements based on EU directive and at least one national VAT law
- Understanding of the different areas: transaction (tax determination), reporting (periodical and continuous) and monitoring (analytics)
- Good understanding of VAT/Intrastat reporting
- Understanding of the Order to Cash and Purchase to pay processes
- Experience working in or with finance functions with an understanding of their responsibilities and pain points
- Comfortable working for a dynamic technical organisation with a rapidly expanding customer base
- Strong time management, organisational and decision-making skills
- Ability to lead team members
- Ability to manage client expectations, ensuring that work is profitability complete as per the defined Statement of Work
- Comfortable with providing guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal, fluent in English with the confidence to present to clients
- Thorough knowledge of MS Office software including Excel, Word, & Power Point
- Moderate travel required to Sovos locations/events and client onsite
