The Technical Search Engine Optimization (SEO) II Specialist is an experienced strategist with a deep understanding of search engines and web development. This customer-facing role is focused on enhancing our clients' website health, indexability, and SERP rankings through advanced technical tactics. Constantly on the lookout for innovative ideas, this specialist thrives on tackling daily challenges creatively, collaborating with the team to devise long-term solutions, and elevating our SEO service offerings to ensure sustained success in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
The Employee shall perform the work of SEO II Specialist, with the following descriptions of working duties.
- Perform technical SEO audits and recommend or implement changes;
- Write detailed SEO specifications for development teams and marketing sector teams (advertising, content, CRM/Sales, etc.);
- Use dashboarding tools (exp. Data Studio), data manipulation (Excel/Sheets/SQL) to setup client reporting;
- Define requirements for situations such as: redirects, various migrations, structured data, internationalization, etc.;
- Implementation of web performance tools and best practices (PageSpeed Insights, Screamingfrog);
- A collaborative attitude with the ability to work across internal product and commercial teams;
- Manage and collaborate on content production by planning content calendars, and working as or with an Account Lead to delegate to managing writers (or collaborating with content writing teams), and supporting them on SEO;
- Serve as a key SEO expert/advocate;
- Advise and execute methods to track, report, analyze and improve SEO performance;
- Execute on-page optimizations;
- Act as or collaborate with an Account Lead to communicate with developers and product teams to implement necessary features and changes;
- Keep up-to-date with latest SEO trends, strategies and algorithm changes;
- Stay current on emerging digital SEO and marketing technologies;
- Implement changes in content management systems (CMS);
- Regular tracking and reporting of results;
- Setup and audit conversion tracking;
- Audit and analyze account performance;
- Spot trends and suggest improvements;
- Review and analyze competitor sites;
- Provide Off-Page recommendations;
- Be directly involved in client activity and conference calls;
- Understand the clients' objectives to develop SEO strategy;
- Go through account documentation/setting briefs/reports and to be able to take over the account without a lot of direction;
- Operating on a senior level with accounts;
- Taking Premium accounts and running them on a more strategic level;
- Suggesting and foreseeing potential growth in clients accounts;
**Requirements**:
- Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills including fluent to native conversational English
- Ability to create, justify, communicate and implement SEO strategies across teams and external agencies
- Data-driven and analytical mindset
- Attention to detail
- Project management skills
**Skills & Experience**:
- Experience working directly with clients, and account managing clients
- Teamwork mindset
- Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to work closely with clients and their SEO users
- Strong organizational skills
- Proactive problem-solving abilities
- A positive attitude and a passion for marketing
- Significant experience with some of the industry standard tools like Google Analytics, GoogleSearch Console, Moz, SEMrush, Screamingfrog, Ahrefs, SEOlyze, Deepcrawl, etc.
**Good to have but not mandatory**:
- Google Analytics Certification
- Good understanding of WordPress
- Good understanding of HTLM and CSS
- Basic understanding of PHP
- Good understanding of UX & UI
- Marketing automation experience with HubSpot (SharpSpring is a plus)
- Experience with HTML, Javascript or any programming language would be an advantage
