**Contract and SAM Manager**
**Mission**
Manage the life cycle of the T2D (Tech, Transformation and Data) Department's contracts, participating in the definition and development of optimization measures and ensuring an efficient rationalization of services and costs, appropriate to Galp's T2D needs.
**What you'll do**
- Participate in the development and implementation of strategies for contracting services in T2D Department in accordance with internal standards;
- Evaluate/select and implement best practices regarding contract management, including implementation and maintenance of contract/licensing management support tools;
- Regularly manage the relationship with suppliers, ensuring effective control of the contracted service;
- Participate in contract management/ meetings for follow-up and improvement of the contracted services;
- Plan and coordinate the Procurement lifecycle, monitoring and ensuring the evolution of procurement processes with the various Departments involved, as well as the definition and continuous update of the T2D Procurement Plan;
- Ensure the optimization of the contracting of services, identifying and implementing value generation opportunities; Coordinate and support the preparation of Specifications (tender programs and contracts) and evaluate proposals in the contractual/licensing component;
- Support business analysts from a contractual/licensing perspective in T2D initiatives. Interact with different teams of other departments (in particular the Purchasing Department ,Legal Services, and Planning and Performance Department);
- Prepare the annual budget for the contracts, together with the various service managers, and allocate the budget to the Business Units, according to their use; Monitor, control and optimize the financial aspect of contracts, relevant dates and events, as well as licensing compliance relying when possible on corporate tools (Supply4Galp, SAP and Flexera are particularly relevant);
- Prepare TI contractual management control reports (e.g.,, SLAs, expenditure,, purchasing processes) to be presented to the Board and T2D Leadership Team;
- Support internal and external audit defense processes, with particular focus on software licensing contracts and promoting compliance with best practices and agreed terms and conditions;
- Ensure relationships with other corporate and business areas to guarantee contractual coverage of necessary services and software;
- Support the registration and control of documentation and contractual information;
- Elaboration of intragroup services contracts.
**What you'll need**
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics/Management/Engineering/Information Systems.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in similar functions with a strong component of contractual contract management or planning and control, preferably in large companies.
- Verbal/written English - fluent (mandatory) and knowledge of verbal/written Spanish (preferred).
- Knowledge of Information Technologies:
- Good computer skills from a user perspective and fluency in using MS Windows, MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and Access tools;
- Preferably with knowledge of SAP from the user's perspective (FI and MM).
