Product Release and Communications Manager

You will be working for Easy4Pro, one of its successful start-ups, already operating in all 5 continents. With the agility of a start-up and the stability of a group, you are in charge of overseeing the lead and prospect generation for our European market.

Product Release and Communications Manager is based in Porto (Portugal).

**Job Overview**:
The Product Release and Communications Manager ensures the seamless execution of product releases by coordinating planning, testing, documentation, and rollout efforts. This role bridges the gap between business analysts, development teams, and implementation managers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and clear communication throughout the release process.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Business Requirements & Planning**
- Review Business Requirement Documents (BRD) to ensure clarity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate and refine requirements when needed.
- Ensure that development planning aligns with business objectives and timelines.

**2. Sprint Management & Progress Monitoring**
- Track sprint progress, ensuring tasks are completed on time and logged hours align with estimates.
- Maintain and update sprint boards to reflect real-time progress.
- Identify misalignments and alert relevant teams to take corrective action.

**3. Quality Assurance & Testing**
- Conduct testing to ensure all releases meet functional and quality standards.
- Identify, report, and track issues until they are resolved.
- Seek to increase testing automation.
- Validate that all planned features are correctly implemented before release.

**4. Communication & Coordination**
- Draft and disseminate clear and concise communication regarding releases to relevant stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between development, business, and implementation teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Follow up on escalated tickets, ensuring timely resolution.

**5. Documentation & Rollout**
- Update all relevant documentation and training materials post-development.
- Coordinate with key users and Implementation Managers for structured rollout.
- Monitor rollout success through KPIs, ensuring adoption by all relevant teams.
- Work alongside Implementation Managers to ensure 100% rollout of each functionality.

**6. Reporting & Continuous Improvement**
- Generate reports on sprint progress, hours logged, and ticket resolutions.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of releases, identifying areas for improvement.
- Contribute to quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with insights on release performances per customer together with the account managers.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Experience in product release management, project coordination, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to identify misalignments and proactively address them.
- Proficiency in project management tools.
- Experience in logistics, SaaS, or technology-driven environments is a plus.
