Clinical Product Specialist

IQVIA are searching for an experienced Clinical Product Specialist on behalf of our client - a growing medical devices company that develops, manufactures, and markets its brands in more than 90 countries, and holds leading market positions in multiple categories across its portfolio, which encompasses digestive health, respiratory and pain management.
In this newly created field-based position, you will have responsibility for providing training and support for new and existing hospital-based customers including initial set up, education, ongoing advice and troubleshooting of devices within the pain management and digestive health arena and providing support to internal colleagues.
This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone who would like to travel, as the scope of the role involves up to 75% travel covering several countries -Portugal, Spain, Italy, Malta, Greece, and Cyprus.
Responsibilities also include:
- Supporting and facilitating new product evaluations within trusts
- Organizing and conducting workshops, seminars, and demonstrations
- On site and remote technical support and issue resolution
- Liaising with field-based colleagues, marketing and distributors to ensure customers have access to the most relevant materials and resources, and identify partnership opportunities
- Reporting any adverse events, including product failures to regulatory department
- Ensuring devices are used compliantly and safely.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a similar role providing training and assessment in clinical practice
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., nursing, biomedical engineering, or a related healthcare discipline)
- Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish with outstanding interpersonal skills
- Willing to travel extensively
- Driving license
- Based in Portugal or Spain.
