**Your contribution to something big**:
Within the Bosch Group, our Corporate Quality department, responsible for Bosch quality management tools and processes worldwide, is expanding its global team in Portugal. As the setting owner and head of all Engineering Product Quality experts, you will lead a community of Engineering Product Quality leaders and experts to drive and leverage quality in engineering through the EPQ role. For that you will:
- Shape and maintain a network of engineering product quality leaders and experts from the Bosch group to define and ensure up to date governance principles and directives;
- Collect and share good practices within the different Bosch divisions;
- Develop and maintain the enabling concept, including train the trainer, as well as plan and monitor training execution and trainer qualification;
- Establish and implement, together with the engineering product quality experts’ network, methods and tools within the product development process to ensure that risks and opportunities are being openly addressed, and decisions are well-founded and retraceable;
- Align the EPQ role with other, adjacent systems, roles and tasks (e.g., BES, BPS, UX, PM, SW-Quality) and expand the EPQ role’s focus to the complete product lifecycle;
- Drive quality improvement initiatives to leverage the engineering product quality role with the support and framework from the Corporate Quality Management department.
**Qualifications**:
**What distinguishes you**:
- **
Education**: Degree in Mechanical, Physics, Electrical or Software Engineering or equivalent;
- ** Experience and know how**:
- Solid basis of technical knowledge in product engineering;
- Enthusiasm in understanding technical contents;
- Experience in product and/or SW development;;
- Knowledge of quality methods, processes & tools (problem solving, 8D Report, management of characteristics and others);
- Knowledge of engineering methods, processes & tools (DRBFM, FMEA, FTA, DfR, FAM, ASPICE and others);
- ** Working Style and Methods**:Analytical, detail oriented and structured work style with a problem-solving mindset. Ability to work within a team environment and to create a good network inside and outside the company;
**Personality**:proactive and autonomous, with an assertive communication style. Interested in continuous development and working in an international set up, with ability to adapt and influence;
- ** Languages**: very good knowledge and communication in English. Knowledge of German is a plus.
