Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Mechanically Qualified)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and mechanically qualified Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of our new project in Portugal. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in large-scale construction projects within the chemical or related industries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the project in Portugal.- Ensure all project objectives are met, including timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.- Coordinate and manage all aspects of the project, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.- Oversee the work of subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.- Implement robust project management practices, including risk management, cost control, and performance tracking.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, procurement, and operations, to achieve project goals.- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.- Ensure compliance with all local regulations, standards, and environmental requirements.

Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.- Extensive experience as a Project Manager in large-scale construction projects, preferably within the chemical industry.- Strong leadership and team management skills.- Excellent project management skills, with proficiency in project management software and tools.- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, engineering principles, and industry standards.- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Fluency in English; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus but not required.
