In order to optimize testing, we bring field conditions into our test center and expose them to advanced functional, performance, and reliability testing. Vestas test centers are some of the world’s great facilities for testing turbine main components (gearbox, generator, converter, bearings) and include several test rigs with the capability to test components separately or as complete wind turbines up to 20MW. In Test and Verification, we are 30+ highly motivated engineers, specialists, and turbine technicians who are responsible for planning, implementing, and troubleshooting during test campaigns. Furthermore, our team is responsible for specifying and building up new test capabilities to continually ensure that Vestas products have the highest quality in the wind market. **Responsibilities** - Test planning: Overall planning of tests across Vestas' test rigs within the responsibility of the Test and Verification department - Test chart (Powerpoint & Think Cell): Test specific planning, resource and budget estimations in collaboration with internal customers, specialists, and engineers, and ongoing follow-up during the phases: Preparation, Installation, commissioning, de-commissioning - Resource planning: Ongoing dialog with internal customers and Project managers regarding requested resources and ongoing dialog with Department managers regarding allocated resources - MS Project: Detailed project planning for test projects where PM support is needed - SAP: Economy and PO creation and follow-up for test projects where this is required - Responsibility to set up and follow up on project budgets - Practical coordination of activities with team and stakeholders **Qualifications** - Master or bachelor's degree e.g. electrical, mechanical, marine engineering - 5+ years of experience including hands-on technical project management within electrical - or mechanical projects - Experience with Wind turbines, MS Project, SAP, and SAP easy DMS is an added value **Competencies** - You are organized and able to handle several tasks at the same time - Coordinate projects and an efficient communicator with project managers, engineers, technicians, and other internal - and external stakeholders - Fluent in English, verbally and written **What we offer** You will join a very homogenous department with a high focus on team development and great opportunities for personal development in a highly professional environment.
