Hiscox Europe, which includes Germany, France, Benelux, Iberia and Ireland, is running on a multi-year, multi-country business and technology transformation programme, cutting across all geographies and targeting a set of key strategic outcomes: operational efficiency and scalability, connectivity, quality and speed of change, and analytics.

The Technology Programme Manager, part of Europe Technology Team, based in Lisbon, and reporting to the Europe Technology Director, will be pivotal in driving through the technology transformation aspects of the programme, coordinating IT delivery to the programme, across multiple IT workstreams.

**How will you help us? With your top performer experience in delivery business and technology transformation programmes**
- Strong experience (more than 8 years) in IT change delivery with previous experience in major multi-year, multi-million IT programmes; experience in delivering multi-country programmes is a plus.
- Solid experience in working in an international environment, within the financial space, spanning across different countries and cultures; previous experience in Insurance specific business is a plus.
- Knowledgeable on Programme and Project Management methodologies and best practices; Professional certification is a plus.
- Recognised as a strong leader, capable of resolving issues in a collaborative environment and getting hands-on whenever the situation requires
- Comfortable of spanning across a broad range of topics (business, IT, programme & project delivery, people management)
- Good written and verbal English communication skills, additional language (German, French, Spanish, or Dutch) is a plus.

**What we expect from you? To ensure, with the Programme Director, the successful delivery and adoption of our business and technology transformation programme**
- Engage with the Programme Director and external PMO to shape and lead the direction of the transformation program, to manage and solve escalation issues.
- Manage stakeholders, participate in the Steering Group meetings and other executive forums and interacting with EU executives on programme direction, delivery and issues management.
- Accountable for the delivery of the technology programme and its benefits, combining direct responsibility for the IT workstreams execution.
- Act as a mentor and leader for the IT teams involved in the programme, keeping high levels of motivation.
- Ensure long term visions, objectives, and success measures for the technology aspects of the overall programme are clear, with traceability through to individual initiatives.
- Promote coordination and alignment between different IT stakeholders to achieve the program goals and timelines and to ensure adequate and successful transition to post-programme / BAU.
- Accountable for the overall IT programme budget and responsible for the visibility and clarity of the TCO.
- Take day-to-day ownership of the key IT vendor relationships, ensuring long-term partnership and performance.
