The Mastercard Blockchain and Crypto team, part of Mastercard’s global Consumer Solutions division, is focused on the rapidly evolving blockchain technology, related ecosystems, and their impacts on consumers, merchants, and other market participants. The team leads the development, management, and commercialization of compliant digital asset solutions with the goal of providing a wide range of payment options and value-added services to our stakeholders and aligning closely with Mastercard’s multi-rail strategy and commitment to consumer choice.

The Blockchain and Digital Assets Team is looking for a Manager, Program Management to be responsible for overseeing the seamless execution of key projects. They will play a pivotal role in coordinating cross-functional teams across various initiatives, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. The Program Manager will be tasked with meticulously managing complex projects, holding team members accountable for their deliverables, identifying interdependencies, and proactively raising potential risks, working with diverse teams, including business, product, and software development. Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex projects are essential competencies for this role.

Role
- Leads, orchestrates, and accelerates leading complex initiatives with dependent organizations to ensure successful execution and completion
- Responsible for planning, developing, and executing schedules with Product Management, Product Development and Product Engineering teams, ensuring methodology compliance
- Work across our program for ways to align teams to simple coherent approaches that optimize operating mechanisms, including tracking the workflow between Product management, Product Development team and the Product Engineering team
- Operates across teams and businesses utilizing depth of a business domains to oversee and fill the gaps between teams and processes while removing all blocking issues necessary for successful delivery
- Manage complex resolutions, and help develop solutions to complex problems
- Manage escalations (both the driver of and the recipient of)
- Continuously monitor and analyze key performance indicators and move them in a positive direction
- Determine the project’s communication plan, which will dictate the delivery of regular communication with project team, leadership and other stakeholders, reporting on project status and measuring against schedule, budget, and resourcing, etc. Communicate decisions clearly and provide rationale to ensure understanding and buy-in from team and stakeholders.
- Looked to as first point of contact for your teams or business line/service and the source of truth for status, providing the correct information and associated data about the state of the project to the right audience at the right time with the right focus
