Product Manager

**Role Purpose**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our Consumer Marketing area. Your role will be to own the full responsibility for the discovery, design, implementation and, ultimately, the daily management of new market solutions associated with one of Vodafone’s local and global current key initiatives.

You will be given the opportunity to work on a recently formed team whose main purpose is the delivery of solutions conceived to enhance our customers’ experience when managing their devices’ lifecycle, either when trading or using them.

As the end-to-end responsible for such portfolio, you are expected to ensure the launch of fully fitted products to the Portuguese market, always aiming to add extra layers of differentiation, namely by making great use of both our retail and digital sales channels capabilities.

You will have the opportunity to work in close contact with our frontline teams but you will also have the chance to coordinate all the backstage work performed by the local and international business and technical stakeholders that prepare the delivery of the new services.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Define the product strategy.
- Build and maintain a complete roadmap of business and technical activities for the portfolio of projects and services.
- Engage with internal or external stakeholders to design and build new solutions that fit inside the beyond connectivity space.
- Interact with Vodafone Group to ensure full alignment on the planning and delivery of central solutions.
- Engage with local teams and act as a coordinator of all end-2-end activities required to the local deployment of approved solutions.
- Raise timely advise on the existence of blockers or bottlenecks restraining projects’ evolution.
- Provide regular or extraordinary updates to relevant stakeholders, including top management.
- Keep track of products’ performance, mediating the needed adjustments when required.
- Coordinate the go-to-market and communications activities with the relevant teams, while monitoring its effectiveness.
- Perform, on an ongoing basis, market benchmark analysis for the relevant portfolio of services and suggest adjustments to the product strategy accordingly.
- Keep a backlog of interesting new product features or evolutions seeking to bring them to the roadmap under the appropriate conditions.

**Ideal Background**:

- 3 years+ relevant professional experience on product or innovation management, ideally on a multi-national environment.
- Experience in accomplishing end-2-end preparation, managing and delivery of market solutions in a B2C (preferably) or B2B context.
- Strong communications skills, showing comfort in interfacing with different audiences of varied levels of seniority.
- Strong team player, showing clear capabilities to concede on decisions that affect the group
- Comfortable with having considerable level of autonomy and taking the risk on decisions.
- Seeks skilled support and values others’ opinions when entering fewer known areas.
- Enjoys experimentation and can motivate others to challenge the established status quo.
- Creative, out-of-the-box thinker specially when on discovery phase.
- Adequately analytical when presenting results and suggesting options to proceed.
