PAYMENT OVERSIGHT AND CONTROL OFFICER (JOB NUMBER: 2308SSOP15911) **About the job** - The Payment Oversight and Control Officer main mission is improving and strengthening the settlement process framework by monitoring and identifying payment incidents volume and root causes across the various products globally. The Payment Oversight and Control Officer is also responsible for setting-up and running the manual payment control utilities across Processing and Support operational perimeter with the objective to monitor and reduce further the volume of manual payments and to re-enforce the associated control framework **Your Main Activities Are** - Monitor and report payment incidents - Wrong payments and higher than 1Mios (volumes, evolution and trend) - Perform analysis of payment incident samples: identify root causes, patterns and impacts in coordination with Settlement / Control & Investigation teams, IT, among others - Propose with the operational managers process enhancement and monitor remediation plan deployment - Ensure that adequate payment procedures (POC in charge) are in place, properly implemented and applied by Settlement teams. If necessary, review or create new one - Deploy a permanent training framework for back-officers involved in payment functions - Monitor the remediation around the reduction of manual payment through IT solutions - Ensure manual payment execution quality. This includes review of Established Cash Out trainings and ensuring proper training certifications in place before establishing payment profiles - Control manual payment platform accesses (Systematic validation for every access request for GMO Global Booking Worldwide) - Handle payment transparency alerts generated by SATURN (GFS/Compliance tool) within the 30 days following their creation - Includes Quarterly reporting on Roosevelt **Profile and Skills to Success** - Bachelor Degree Economics, Finance and Accounting - Up to 2 years of elevant experience - Fluent (C1-C2) - Attention to detail / rigor - Ability to collaborate / Teamwork - Communication skills - oral & written - Ability to understand, explain and support change - Knowledge in Operations and Processes - Transaction processing and data capture / Control LI-Hybrid **Why joining BNP Paribas?** - ** Leading banking institution** BNP Paribas is a leader in the Eurozone, and a prominent international banking institution with strong roots in Europe's banking history.
