**BL Consulting** is recruiting, for a prestigious company, a **SENIOR LEGAL ADVISER**, for **ALGÉS**, for a Permanent Placement position.

**Requirements**:

- Academic Requirements: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in law;
- Specialty in Energy and Commercial Law **(valued)**;
- Uo to 7 years of general experience and at least 3 years of experience in energy law, preferably in a law firm or in the legal team of an energy company;
- Experience in interacting with Regulatory Entities such as the ERSE, the Courts and Arbitration Centers and União Europeia energy regulations;
- Knowledge of Portugal energy regulation, especially in the electricity market;
- Knowledge and experience in compliance matters, knowledge of ISO 37301 - Certification of compliance management systems **(valued)**;
- Experience on resolution of employee queries on issues related to compliance and ethical conduct;
- Advanced knowledge of IT;
- Fluency in Portuguese, English and Spanish (mandatory);
- Easy access to Algés.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- **Commercial Law**: Advising on day-to-day operation.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensuring that the company complies with Portugal and EU energy regulations, including market rules, licensing and environmental requirements;
- **Contract Management**:Drafting, reviewing and negotiating power purchase agreements, grid connection contracts and supply agreements;
- **Corporate and Commercial Law**:Advising on corporate governance;
- **Complaints, Litigation and Dispute Resolution**:Identifying and managing legal risks, monitoring disputes and supporting alternative dispute resolution strategies, managing customer and third party complaints;
- **Regulatory and Stakeholder Relations**:Interacting with regulatory authorities, industry bodies and government entities on compliance policies and conditions;
- **Risk Assessment**: Identifying and mitigating legal risks related to operations, investments and business strategy;
- **Monitoring and disseminating the Compliance program**;
- **Managing the company’s complaints channel**: Analyzing, managing and resolving any complaints received from start to finish, in conjunction with the Compliance area;
- Other duties inherent to the professional category.
