**RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN TASKS**
- Develop, implement, and maintain a data governance framework that includes policies, procedures, and standards for data management, data quality, data security, and data privacy.
- Lead a team of data governance officers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including IT, legal, compliance, and business units, to ensure alignment with data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Develop and maintain a data management framework with clear roadmap, and regularly communicate progress to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Define and enforce data governance policies, procedures, and standards focusing on Master/Reference/Meta Data, Data Quality, Data Security.
- Develop and deliver data governance training programs for stakeholders across the organization to ensure understanding and compliance with data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure master data is clearly defined, communicated, and well understood and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning.
- Define Data Classification & ensure correct implementation.
- Monitor data quality metrics and identify opportunities for improvement to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, developments, and best practices in data governance and related fields, and provide thought leadership to the organization.
- Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements at corporate level.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, policies, and standards.
- Experience developing and implementing data management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Has led at least two large master data governance implementations.
- Results orientation, willingness to commit to a direction and drive operations to completion.
- Ability to manage senior relationships across all the Business and Functional areas.
- Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
- Experience with data quality management, data lineage, and metadata management tools and technologies.
- Strong project management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to develop cooperative and constructive working relationships.
- Collaborative team player orientation towards work relationships, strong culture awareness.
- Ability to develop people, skills in coaching, mentoring, and teaching on the job.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English.
