About Us:
We are Kouji, a cutting-edge cocktail bar that fuses Asian flavors with modern mixology techniques. Our bar offers an immersive experience through creative drinks, premium spirits, and authentic Asian hospitality. We're looking for a skilled Bar Manager who can also work as Head Bartender to lead both our operations and cocktail program.
Dual Role Responsibilities:
Bar Manager Duties:
- Oversee all daily operations including staff scheduling, inventory, and customer service
- Manage bar finances including cost control, purchasing, and profit margins
- Recruit, train, and motivate bar staff
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol regulations
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
Head Bartender Duties:
- Create and update seasonal cocktail menus with Asian-inspired creations
- Lead by example in drink preparation and service standards
- Maintain premium cocktail quality and presentation
- Experiment with new techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations
- Educate staff on spirits, ingredients, and cocktail craftsmanship
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years experience in both bartending and bar management
- Extensive knowledge of Asian flavors, spirits, and mixology techniques
- Proven ability to create original cocktail recipes
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of bar business operations and financial management
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
