**About TMF Group**:
As a Team Leader you'll be responsible of a team of 5-7 people in the Accounting & Tax Department. You will ensure that the quality of the deliverables and the workflow in the team follows TMF standards, while building high level relationship with feeders, clients and third party suppliers.

You will be also accountable for the correct and in time submission of tax compliance, statutory reporting and corporate reporting obligations of the team’s portfolio. You would be the visible head of your team, and you'll be responsible for solving service delivery issues while offering a helpful hand for its solution, making sure that the team offers the best image of TMF in every situation or event.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Overview of the successful execution of all end-to-end Accounting activities for TMF’s clients, ensuring work is completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and year end reporting on the basis of a pre-defined reporting pack at our client’s request
- Overseeing month-end and year-end closing activities, from balance sheets and cash account reconciliations to financial statement preparation, while reviewing all reconciliations
- Reviewing prepared VAT returns, withholding tax returns, corporate income tax returns and other filings
- Maintaining yourself up to date with changes in local accounting and tax legislation and prepares correspondence on the changes in order to inform clients
- Coordinating activities and work with multiple other teams in TMF Group
- Allocating and managing the workload of junior team members, assigning or re-assigning tasks to them and monitor day to day progress of delivery using available means to ensure that the outputs are delivered on time
- Reviewing the work of junior team members ensuring accuracy, providing feedback and approving draft documents for execution or filing
- Providing guidance and support to junior team members with complex work, supporting them with career development and acting as a point of escalation.
- Ensuring all new clients are properly onboarded adhering to TMF Global Onboarding Standards

**About you**:

- Degree in Accountancy or other business related disciplines
- Minimum 5-6 years of related work experience is preferred
- Certified Public Accountant is a must for this role
- Prior team leading experience is preferred
- Resourceful, independent and strong problem-solving personality
- Excellent written and communication skills, with strong ability to plan ahead and organize yourself
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word is essential, along with experience in local accounting system
