Location: Santa Iria, Portugal

Hybrid working 3 days per week in the office

**About the position**

In our bright and sunny office located in Santa Iria, we need someone to help manage daily operations. A person that can deal with daily transactions, maintaining accounts clear, reviewing accounting assignments & fiscal information, and making cash forecasts. You will have a wide overview of our whole accounting operation for Iberia.

Reporting into the Iberia financial controller, you are ready to maintain & establish key relationships with the shared services group, tax, treasury and the outsource provider Cap Gemini.

With your accounting skills and knowledge you will be:

- Reviewing and approving weekly payment runs & dealing with incoming invoices.
- Main point of contact for shared service center and suppliers for invoicing and vendor queries.
- Managing incoming post.
- Supporting Financial Controller with local VAT submission
- Help deliver the month end close e.g. posting journals.
- Help the Financial Controller maintain integrity of the Balance Sheet & help the Financial Controller deliver group and statutory audits.
- Ensure integrity of monthly payroll before posting into SAP, liaise with HR team on queries, be the finance point of contact for the outsourced payroll provider.

**So what does it take to be successful in this role**

You have worked in a similar role for the past 3 to 5 years and are now ready for a new challenge in Finance/Accounting.

You are familiar with all basic accounting principles.

Highly oriented to detail, you put your analytical skills to practice with good knowledge of excel, and ideally you have some SAP experience.

You have an insurgent mindset and passion to identify and deliver profitable, growth opportunities.

Fluency in English language is required and Spanish is a plus.
