In Lisbon, Portugal we are looking for a Sales Coordinator.

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator is the first point of contact for all guests calling or visiting the Cafe. This position is responsible for assisting with the daily activities and administrative functions for the Sales and Marketing Manager and ultimately the Operations Managers while taking ownership of specific initiatives that will assist in driving sales.

**Responsibilities**:

- Answers sales phone lines in a timely manner
- Takes messages, handles customer requests and forwards leads/inquiries to the Sales & Marketing Manager immediately. Communicate requests to appropriate departments.
- Performs daily office duties including, but not limited to, filing, copying, creation of files, gift certificates, retrieving and delivering mail, and creating and delivering amenity requests.
- Schedules and prioritizes workload for the Sales & Marketing Manager.
- Help generate the Weekly Sales Activity Report
- Maintain Reference Library, association memberships, trade show information, & mailing lists.
- Assembling of the Cafe Event Calendar and Brand Calendar.
- Maintenance of sales and marketing tools and equipment (banners, linens, skirting, etc.).
- Administration of package programs
- Assist in execution and attend buyouts, functions, and designated parties to provide support, ensure guest satisfaction, and promote future business
- Know, understand, and practice (with energy and enthusiasm) the mission, values, mottos, culture and spirit that make Hard Rock unique.
- Work as a team, helping all departments to complete the required activities or projects that ensure we achieve successful events or outcomes reflecting the brand.
- Maintain high morale.
- Operate ethically to protect the image of Hard Rock.
- Utilize programs designed to help Save the Planet.
- College degree as a minimum school graduation
- Work experience up to one year
- Presentation of a professional image to guests, clients and potential function coordinators.
- Composure during stressful events
- Possession of a take-charge attitude tempered with diplomacy
- Ability to work independently while ensuring the manager and/or clients possession of pertinent information for the execution of a successful event
- Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent reading and writing
- Comprehend professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization
- Multiple language abilities is a plus, fluency in English is mandatory
