Summary

**We are looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our pre-opening team at Andaz Lisbon.**

Expected to open in Q3 2025, Andaz Lisbon will offer guests an exciting new luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital - and it will represent a key milestone in Hyatt’s continued brand growth in Southern Europe. Andaz Lisbon is set to become the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Lisbon. Located in the center of Lisbon’s bustling Baixa district and situated along the main pedestrian road, Rua Augusta, the hotel will be comprised of five separate buildings, including the former offices of one of the major banks in Portugal, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI). This central building of the hotel will offer 170 guestrooms, with the surrounding four satellite buildings of the hotel offering guests various private suites to choose from. This unique Urban Resort in the city center will allow guests to fully embrace the locale and experience authentic Lisbon.

**About the role**

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Coordinator to join our team during the pre-opening phase of Andaz Lisbon. Reporting to the Director of Sales (who reports to the Director Commercial Services).

Key Responsibilities:

- Experience in Negotiating, Quoting and Contracting groups and events at the Hotel
- Manage and coordinate all group bookings from inquiry to post-departure, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
- Liaise with internal departments (sales, F&B, front office, housekeeping) to ensure group requirements and expectations are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, travel agents, and corporate partners to encourage repeat business.
- Monitor group performance and provide reports, contributing to revenue growth through upselling opportunities and strategic planning.

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Proven 2 year of experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- **Skills**: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong analytical abilities, and a customer-focused attitude.
- **Languages**: English and Portuguese fluent, 3rd language is a plus
