**Marketing & Congress Manager**

The European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Therapy (ESRA), a non-profit international scientific society based in Switzerland with over 6’000 members around the world, is currently looking for a dynamic, committed and self-motivated Marketing & Congress Manager to join its team of employees and take care of the tasks mentioned below.

The objectives of ESRA include the study, promotion, education, and training of techniques for local and regional anaesthesia and acute or chronic pain management and encouraging scientific research and the dissemination of informations. ESRA organises congresses, publish scientific works, and encourage research regarding this medical discipline. Its annual congress is taking place once a year usually beginning of September in a different European country every year.

This position is remote in any location in Europe.

**Tasks**:
**Marketing**:

- Marketing strategy for the annual congress in collaboration with the Community Manager and the PCO
- Market analysis for Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Therapy
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) in collaboration with the Community Manager
- Support the Community Manager for social media & online communication
- ESRA standard visual control
**Congress**:

- Liaison with the PCO, main contact between the society and the PCO
- Budget control for the annual congress
- Timeline control for the annual congress
- Preparation of comparisons reports for future congress destinations
- Contracts negotiations for the congress (venue, faculty hotels, social events venues, etc )
- Additional tasks related to the annual congress
**Skills and qualifications**:

- Working experience with a PCO as international events manager
- Experience in Marketing
- Knowledge in finances
- Great experience in team management
- University degree in Marketing, Events Management, Business Administration or similar education
- Strong communication skills in English is required (written and oral). Any other languages are an asset
- Self-driven in setting priorities, set and meet goals and deadlines
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Good presentation skills
- Willingness to travel
- Strong, dynamic team player who can bring innovative ideas to achieve targets
- Outstanding computer skills
