We are seeking for an Industrial Engineering Leader in our Santa Maria da Feira plant. Integrated to a team of 2, you will play a key role in supporting local production of conveyors, participating to upskill our manufacturing processes.
**Your Mission**:
Project developments:
- Participate in the design of equipment to integrate industrial design and assembly constraints as soon as possible
- Participate in the control of equipment costs with the purchasing departments
- Arbitrate the choice of the method of supply of machine components in accordance with the manufacturing process
- Supervise the prototype assembly process in order to solve manufacturing and assembly problems as soon as possible
- Define pre-series and serial manufacturing processes as part of project development milestones
- Design the workshop tools necessary to manufacture equipment
Production support (Making sure to make technical documentation available)
- Supervise the industrialization of assembly processes in order to reduce manufacturing times
- Oversee the optimization of assembly processes
- Actively collaborate in the reduction of customer and internal non-conformities
Support to purchasing and quality departments
- Participate in the development of strategic suppliers
- Participate in the development of critical components requiring in-depth technical expertise in various disciplines
Within the Industrial Methods Department
- At the request of the department manager
- Implement internal procedures
- Lead continuous improvement actions
**Your Profile**:
Education and Languages:
- Mechanical knowledges (automatism notions appreciate)
- English (technical, and conversational basis)
Key leadership Behavior:
- Engineer beginner accepted with minimum industrial apprenticeship experience or Tehcnian with 3 years of experiences
- Software: Solidworks / Excel
- Spirit / working team, open-minded, technically curious; patient & respectful
- Pragmatic, results-oriented and on-field-actions ; pro-active in solution proposal
- Priorities management (multi-tasks/projects) and synthesis capacities (action logs, reporting / presentation, meeting management)
- Occasional travels to be expected
