Controlling Manager
for an
Industrial Multinational
located in
Santa Maria da Feira.
The goal of this position is to act as a Strategic Business Partner, influencing financial decisions across the entire supply chain. This includes budgeting, performance analysis, operational efficiency, and digital transformation, with a strong emphasis on industrial controlling and manufacturing support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management:
Lead and mentor a diverse team of controllers across multiple sites.
- Business Partnering:
Provide financial insights to support supply chain and site leadership. Influence strategic decisions, investment evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Foster financial awareness.
- Controlling & Performance Management
:
Develop and implement efficient controlling processes and reporting tools. Manage budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and product costing.
- Compliance & Governance
:
Ensure adherence to corporate financial policies, local regulations, and legal/tax requirements.
- Digital Transformation:
Lead the deployment of digital finance tools.
Technical Requirements:
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline;
- 5–7 years of proven experience in Controlling, preferably within an industrial and international setting;
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership (mandatory).
- Strong expertise in IFRS standards and controlling methodologies;
- Practical experience with SAP FI/CO modules;
- Solid background in operations finance;
- In-depth knowledge of industrial controlling and product costing;
- High financial and analytical proficiency, with a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Fluency in English.
