**Location**: Ireland (Various Locations)
**Contract Type**: Full-Time Contract
**Salary**: €13.50 per hour
**Hours**: 39-40 hours per week
**Accommodation**: Available at a low rate
**About Us**:
Protential Resources is partnering with a leading meat processing company in Ireland. We are currently recruiting for Meat Processing Operatives across multiple locations. This is a full-time contractual role with opportunities for immediate start.
**Role Purpose**:
As a Meat Processing Operative, you will be responsible for performing various tasks within the production team, including packing, cleaning, and operating machinery. This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, often in cold/chilled areas, while meeting production targets.
**Reports To**:
Line Supervisor
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Operate in the production area performing tasks such as line operation, packing, cleaning, and distribution
- Handle weights of at least 15kgs, stand for 4+ hours, and move around the factory floor without assistance
- Work in cold environments for extended periods
- Support setting up the production line, completing pre-start, hygiene, and safety checks
- Ensure all machinery is safe to use, reporting any breakages or issues to the Line Supervisor
- Ensure products meet the highest quality standards, reporting any issues promptly
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times
- Participate in all required training and embrace Lean Manufacturing processes
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Line Supervisor
**Skills / Experience**:
- Previous production or factory experience is beneficial but not required (full training provided)
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and handle cold conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- A positive, team-oriented mindset with good time management
**Requirements**:
- EU Passport Holders Only
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Must be able to perform physical tasks and work in cold environments
