**Your role**:
As a Program Buyer New Business Pursuit, you will be part of the SCM EMEA quotations team and be responsible for materials costs calculations for all new programs Aptiv is targeting to win to support continuous growing.

In your daily work you will:

- Be Responsible for the direct contact with suppliers to obtain best prices and delivery terms conditions according Aptiv Purchasing strategy
- Prepare cost estimations
- Performing bench marking activities to obtain most competitive market prices
- Supporting the implementation of Category strategies through best Suppliers integration
- Participate in daily meetings with all different EMEA teams, assuring good level of communication
- Capacity to observe and “think out of the box” to provide inputs with aim of improving processes and tools

**Your background**:

- Degree from commercial, technical university or SCM (preferable)
- Min. 2 years business experience in Purchasing or Sales or Engineering (preferable)
- Good knowledge of MS Office / Good Skills in Excel / Macros creation / PBI / Power Apps
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills is mandatory (any other language is considered as a plus)
- Good communication skills and taste for teamwork is a key for this role
- Good English communication skills in written and spoken (mandatory)
- Organizational skills, it is essential for the role
- Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities
